2. When paddling, keep your heels close together or crossed. With the feet open, the posture is unsightly and increases resistance.

3. Row the water alternately with both hands, put the five fingers together to the limit and then lift it up. When turning, hold the front of the surfboard with one hand, and quickly paddle with the other hand to turn. To steer to the right, you must grab the surfboard with your right hand and make a quick stroke with your left, and vice versa if you want to steer to the left.The stroke must be large and flexible. (You don't need small, quick strokes.) The shoulders need to be raised as high as possible, and the eyes look far ahead.

The surfing skills of stand up on the board:

1. Straighten your arms with your hands down, keep your shoulders and chest straight and look straight ahead.

2. Seize the opportunity and quickly step out of the front foot according to daily habits, so that the distance between the front and rear feet is about 15 cm.

3. Step on the front foot in the middle of the surfboard, quickly retract the back foot and stand up, bend the knee slightly, the center of gravity is in front, and keep the balance with both hands open on both sides of the body. When you need to turn, as long as you turn your body to the desired direction, you can drive the surfboard to turn.

4. On the surfboard, the soles of your feet should be parallel to each other, and you should not stand in a T-step to avoid losing your balance and overturning into the water. Head and eyes should be facing the direction you want to go.
